It doesn’t take much to get pumped about the week-long celebration of cocktails and drinking culture that is the San Francisco Cocktail Week, but just in case you need an early shot in the arm, CUESA (the Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture) is joining forces with the SF Cocktail Week team to bring you a special preview party TOMORROW night at the Ferry Building.  Here are the details:

What: CUESA Farmer’s Market Happy Hour, SF Cocktail Week Preview Night

When: Wednesday, Aug. 24th, 5:30 to 8:00 pm

Where: The Ferry Building, downtown SF

Price: $45 per person

Tickets available here: http://sfcocktailweekpreviewparty.eventbrite.com/

Your ticket gets you 2 full-sized signature cocktails made with late-summer farmer’s market produce (peaches, plums, pluots, tomatoes, etc.), as well as 14 sample-sized cocktails, made by some of the Bay Area’s best bartenders.  There will also be small bites from local restaurants like Monk’s Kettle, 15 Romolo and Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen.

Craft distillers will be well represented in the cocktail ingredients!  You’ll see Charbay Tequila, Hangar One Vodka, No. 209 Gin, Templeton Rye and St. George Spirits’ new Mt. Tam Gin.

Proceeds go towards CUESA’s Schoolyard to Market program, a youth project that teaches students to grow produce in local high school gardens for sale at the Ferry Building Farmers’ Market.
